Hi everyone,
I am beginning to start working on a stage levitation of a ball. I know there are many, many books and manuscripts containing information on this subject and I would truly appreciate it if we could start a list of anything containing information on the subject even if it is a single move or idea. I have searched this on the Café and found quite a bit of info but would love to start a list in one forum. I am looking for names of books, manuscripts, movies on any methods for stage levitation similar to the Okito/Blackstone set-up. I hope this is all not too vague. Thank you all so very much, your knowledge is extremely helpful, DJ |

This information has been discussed extensively on the Café. Most of the time all the available information is in one string repeated from other strings.
You can post your finding again in this string for all of us. Thanks for your research, we will be interested in your results. |

We actually have a member here on the Café who has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on the floating ball effects. I can't remember his name right now, but I believe he was from Hawaii. If you search the threads on the Don Wayne Floating Ball, you will find some of his posts.
In addition, another Café member by the name of Timothy Drake actually performs this effect in his stage show with an Okito hookup. Take a look at the video clips on his web page if you want to see a true artist in action. Kent

Hi, I have the notes and use the okito method it is amazing. I suggest emailing Mike Danata from Bournmouth over here in the uk, he marketed his own floating ball and it is amzing its so easy but amazing to watch. You can reach him at http://www.mikedanatasmagicstudio.com or .co.uk one of the two.
Take care, Luke

Don Wayne's floating ball is excellent.
Dondrake has some good material he has put out on floating items from stage. Concentration is on the dancing hank but the methods can be used for many things. If you do a search you will find lots of stuff on the Café with this topic.
