During one of my recent Las Vegas trips I was fortunate enough to see master magician Bob Sheets demonstrate his latest masterpiece. I was chatting with producer/magician Bob kohler in the hall when Bob Sheets walks up and says; "Want to see something cool?" "Sure" says I. Bob then proceeds to show us SKULLKRACKER - to say I was impressed would be an understatement. It was quick, it was visual and it was very clean looking. The best part? No thumb tip required. Frankly, this new bill switch is just a beautiful thing.

Over the years there have been a slew of ideas and handlings for tricks which make use of paper currency. Some good, some great and some not even worth mentioning. In my opinion the SKULLKRACKER effect is so extremely strong and visual that it is arguably one of the best non-gaffed and easy to perform versions of the bill switch to date - and that's saying something considering the competition.

The ad copy is very accurate, though I can't confirm whether or not I've actually seen a spectator's skull crack from the inside during a performance...perhaps I should pay more attention?

In any case, Bob Sheets does an excellent job of both demonstrating various ways that this particular handling can be presented and then teaching you step-by-step everything you need to know in order to make this effect successful for you and your performances - nothing is left out. Do you need to prepare the bill being used? Yes, but its not what you think and the bill is NOT gaffed in any way...I love it! Finally, I can't think of anything else to add except that I think this will play well for anyone who does this type of magic and I do not hesitate to give this my highest recommendation.
