Man, in a ****ing contest between Piers and David (of David and Dania), I don't know who to root for.
David really is arrogant. I can't tell if it is helping him gain votes from those who wouldn't bother, but would vote for anyone who is "sticking up against the man," or whether he loses votes from people who really like the act, but the more he goes on and on with the verbal feud, don't want to see him win. I won't be bothering to vote, but the way it looks, the tappers or the rapping granny will take this thing. |

The show isn't over yet, Passing Zone gave a pretty clever routine, bringing juggler hating Haslhoff onstage for the act. They also jokingly mocked David and Dania at the end of their act. Even Piers liked it.

David was right. Morgan is the least qulified to be a judge. He has no business being on the show.

You know .. I was watching this series right from the begining, then I quickly lost interest. Most of the show is fake or staged .. you've got to see through some of that .. right??
I missed tonights episode .. but I did hear that David got defensive .. which is interesting. It almost sounds like he made himself look bad .. with an arrogant attitude towards one of the judges. If anything .. it makes us all look bad .. Steve |

What a joke this competition was -- an 11 year old girl? Come on...
Once again, I applaud reality TV...

Did you hear this girl sing? She is absolutely outstanding!!!!!! My singing carreer predates my magic business and goes back 30 years, so I know how hard it is to truly sing well.

This might aswell have been another American Idol with less competition. I don't think solo singers should have even been allowed in the competition, they should all go to American Idol. This show should have been only acts of a different nature, bands ok, but more solo singers?, it obvious that that would be the type of act to win from the get go!

But is she worth a million dollars?
even more so -- was she truly the best in the competition? Of course not, the fave, yes -- age played a factor I feel.... Sorry -- this whole show has me a little bitter -- so much top notch talent was eliminated early on... we had a "rapping granny" in the final -- America does have talent -- but AMERICANS don't understand the definition of the word "TALENT"

Sorry folks .. Michelle the "Stripping Snow White" should have won. I almost forgot about her until Nathan made her magically appear.
I'm glad it's all over ... Steve |

In all my years in the biz, I've learned one this, it's SHOWBUSINESS. It has nothing to do with talent or reality.
It's all about entertainment and ratings. Of course a kid would win. The old adage, "never follow a kid or animal act" shows so true. We know Nathan has a Vegas act and David and Dania tour, so they aren't going to be hurting from the national publicity. An notice that this not Bianca's first TV gig. Let's see... .... In 2004, Ryan competed on Star Search, accompanied by her father Shawn, but she did not win Ryan performed at several notable venues, including Madison Square Garden and Lincoln Financial Field. Ryan's only regular appearance was as an anthemist for a semi-pro inline hockey team called the Philadelphia Growl. She has been performing for them since she was eight years old and will likely continue to sing at the team's events in the forseeable future. Ryan appeared in commercials for the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant chain and the Philadelphia Zoo. She also has a part in 12 and Holding, a feature film planned for a release in fall 2006. ..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bianca_Ryan This wasn't talent off the street, like the show makes it out to be. We should all know that by now. And she's performed at Madison Square Garden! That's not exactly summer stock!!! Rick |

Piers was there to bring some controversy to the show...and he played his part VERY well. I am not a fan of Piers but I do feel he was justified in calling out David regarding the quick change act. Let me explain....
After the first appearance of D&D, Piers asked him if the quick change was all they do. He asked if they were a "1 trick pony" and David responded "No, we have a full 90 minute routine". Piers then appluaded the act and mentioned he would like to see something different. The next performance, the act was exactly the same, but they changed 1 dress and 1 wig. The entire act was EXACTLY what they previously performed. Every hand gesture, every change, every step was identical to what the judges had already seen. Piers was obviously disappointed and asked him again. Again, David agreed to show something different. However, their 3rd performance again was the EXACT SAME ACT with just costume changes and music change, but it really was the same act. Piers then confronted David again and David countered by saying it was different. Piers commented he felt like he was watching Groundhog Day (with Bill Murray). By the 4th performance, Piers was just voicing his disapproval to being lied to. D&D are a 1 trick pony, but it's a great trick. I feel David brought this on himself. For had he been honest after the first performance, it would have never escallated to the insults that they threw each other. Piers was unprofessional, and David was arrogant. Again, I am not a Piers fan, but I also wanted to see D&D perform something else and was diappointed each time they performed. |

If you have ever met David of D & D then you will agree 100% with Piers... Enough said!
