Perhaps this is a fun idea for a horror-themed show? Smile

For some reason I really expected one of those blades was going to get slid in horizontally, not vertically, if you catch my drift ... I'm glad it didn't though !

Myst, such an act wouldn't pay well, but you would get plenty of tips. Smile

Hmm.. kinda gives me an idea.. a bizarre magic act where all the routines go horribly wrong.
That's not so new in the context of comedy magic, but in this act, by the end of the routine, there would be dead assistants everywhere, and the floor would be awash in blood.. the last to die would be me, the magician, of course.

muahahahahaaahh !!

of course, the really odd thing, I bet I'd have no shortage of volunteers from the audience ! Such is human nature.

(BTW, I'm not saying I'd do the effect in the video, I'm just going with the overall idea here)

Okay, here's the start - you know those silly little finger choppers , they're supposed to be cigar cutters ? Have a stupid volunteer who thinks he's pulling a fast one on the magician by switching the gimmicked one out with a real one, but the jokes on the volunteer when it winds up being his finger in the thing.
Haww !! Howls of laughter from all !
Bad demon !! Okay I'll settle down now.. Smile

LOL!!!
It would be a really funny (and scary) act, Mystician!
What if the magician survives at the end, with that big 'Oooooops!' face? lol
Thanks for the animation Tony!
