While, this TV special does happen to take place on the highschool I attend's SmartSystem Chanel 7, I'd still like to perform some extremley visual and hardhitting material, all of which can be contained within a couple of minutes, is simple, and can stay within a frame.

The "Magic Moments" as they will be called will be played every two weeks.

Considerations thusfar:
-King Rising Levitation(maybe)
-Daniel Garcia's Greed(Most Likely)
-Daniel Garcia's Torn(If mastered)
-STS In perhaps the intro
-Perhaps a montage of Monte
-Abyss:Ultimate Coin through Bottle
-A Coin Matrix
-Selections from Garett Thomas's Ring Thing
-Blizzard(maybe)
-Montage of Vanishes(Coin Sleights and Topit)

I'm having to live up to my mentors magic momnets from the previous year
(Healed and Sealed, Coin through Soda Can)

I do resteraunt work, but am fairly positive that the same philosophy behind broadcasts does not apply.

Suggestions for tricks, or any tips on how I should narrow down the best tricks for myself would be most appreciated.

I'd like to keep the magic lighthearted, but hardhitting, if that makes a lick of sense.
Basically,
I'm not pulling a Chris Angel Personality here.

Lets pretend this post isn't overlong,

Jared

Over the past five years I have performed a magic bit on a local TV show on Friday morning. I agonize each week over weather I should entertain my in studio audience or my television audience. It is tough to do both. It is a live performance so what you see is what you get. Usually a single angle shot. In most cases I play to my studio audience because I want the camera to pick up their reaction. I agree that you try and keep your material as light as you feel comfortable performing.

Good Luck,
Derrick
