I got to try it at FISM. I'd say, to get the exact same feeling, powder a deck of cards, and then don't wash your hands. It feels like having fanning powder on the hands.

Not my cup of tea, I also tried it out.
I prefer just having my hands slightly damp. I guess it can help some people, but I prefer natural. That also doesn't require you to carry a spray bottle with you every time you are going to perform magic.

Here is the low-down on why texture spray is avalible.
I have never really had a problem with wet or dry hands so my main aim was simply to create a spray that added some kind of texture to your hands to aid in card handling... I never liked the feeling that your hands have after you just wash them (you lose all grip when trying to riffle cards or do an in the hands riffle shuffle) yet I don't want to not wash my hands when using cards because it will shorten the life of them...So my mission was to create a spray that would give your hands the right texture, clean them and not ruin playing cards! I had of course tried every other spray on the market... not one spray does what mine does. Most left my hands feeling greasy and ruined my cards very quickly. This included golden touch among others. My spray is antibacterial, gives your hands a grip, will sort out dry or wet hands and bring them to a kind of nutral state. It smells nice to Any more questions, feel free to ask. Steve Dela |

Grat concept, I often get dry hands after washing my magicial hands. I may try this product out. Bottom Deals/Second Deals are often difficult to execute with dry hands.

Steve, just out of curiosity. How exactly did you go about developing this hand cream?
I understand the need, card workers who get dry or sweaty hands need something to return thier hands to normal. But how did you go about developing it? Do you have a chemisty/dermatology/cosmetic background? I'm not underestimating a homebased/Amateur product, I know theres a lot of stuff out there to make some nice products. Just curious I guess. Also if it really does what your saying, It would be really helpful to a lot of other professions as well, Mechanics come to mind, working with small machine parts is a pain with sweaty hands. well good luck with that. |

Hi who ever you are?
I am not going into full detail about how my products are developed but yes I am very in the know when it comes to creating cosmetic products. You really should buy it if you are this curious? didn't think about mechanics! thank you. Got other proffesions in mind but not that one. Steve Dela |

Lol, I'm an engineer, so I guess I just think about the mechanics, and you did say "any more questions, feel free to ask"
I wasn't looking for your secret recipe or anything. Just curious how a Magician got into Cosmetology. My wife messed around with making soaps, there’s a lot of different chemicals and compounds that go into that, I thought it was interesting. |

Feel free to help me pitch it to mechanics but I am not sure how essential it is for them as they don't use cards? do they? apart from you.

I think if you're not using the spray already, you're really missing out!
I've been using the spray for a while now and this stuff is great! I never leave home with out it (It fits right in your pocket.) I used this for a brand new invisible deck, just 2 quick sprays on my hands and the cards spread perfectly first time. If you buy it you'll see just what I mean and how great it really is! Ross |

A lot of times you try to use rubber gloves, but then you just can turn a nut or bolt right, You always have to reach into small weird places and the gloves get torn. I mostly just go commando, but your hands get greasy/oily and you once again can't grip things right, so you are blasting through this roll of paper towels like there is no tommorow. I use about 1/2 a roll of paper towels everytime I go to work on the Cars/Truck/Motorcycles.... I hate having my hands oily/greasy so I wipe em off after each step almost. They sell this stuff called liquid gloves which is suppose to make your hands really easy to wash after working on stuff. But I never use it, I just don't like it. Hard to describe. Anyway. Mechanics are like Card Geeks, becuase they are constantly using their hands to manipulate things, It just that those things are mostly metal/plastic. |

Isn't there a spray that athletes use to make their hands more tacky so it's easier to catch a football?
