Aaron,

I look forward to meeting you then. Thank you so much for sitting in on the curtain call lecture/session. We can use all the audience we can get. hehe I am also really looking forward to the "Heart of texas" showcase show. It should be a lot of fun so you can count on me being there and watching.

The Café stickers should be at registration and I will also put them on the bulletin board as well. that way it is easy for folks to just peal one off and stick it to their badges. It worked last year and many folks were glad I did this for them. I have left overs from last year so this should work out quite well for us again this year.

Hehehe yeah certainly have someone drive behind us. Not only to record the antics but to pick anyone up who we have thrown out for doing too many card tricks. hehe

Oh, also do not forget to pick up your official convention pin at registration. I was fortunate enough to be asked to design the official logo and t-shirt for this years convention. It came out pretty good and the pins will be given to everyone in attendance. The shirts will be for sale but they also should do well. it is a black shirt with the logo printed in white.

Awwww so much to do and so little time to do it. Look forward to meeting you in person.

Maybe it's just me but I don't recognize most of the names on the lineup for the SAM convention. I bet it will be a good time though, 4 days of nothing but fun!

The names are well known "within the community", as is often the case with good teaching magicians. Bob White's lecture will be a must see, Kyle also, there is a great line-up for this convention. Plenty to learn for anyone in magic regardless of your area of interest. Plus some very good shows lined up. Of course some of the best instruction goes on outside the lecture rooms, in the coffee shops, hallways, etc. Looking forward to seeing all there. I just hope there is a Café sticker left. Seems everytime they run out before I get there!

You may not know the names, but this is not a negative at all. In fact I know that some of these acts are absolute total eye openers. You will not be disapointed at all and it is bound to be a very good time. Mike.. are you planning on attending?

Thanks Photius for the kind words regarding my lecture/session. It should be a good time and I hope people gain something from what we will be covering off on. it will be held friday morning.

I am looking got the stickers now. if I can't find them, I will try and print out more of them.

Thanks for filling in the gaps for me. I'll be honest in that I'm fairly new to magic as a whole. I've read tons of books and been around things for a while but haven't been around magicians in person to hang out and stuff. I hope to attend, I've never been to texas before.

You will be around others like urself and some of the top pros in the world as well at the convention, and you will find the top pros are just as approachable as the newbies. It is great fun, and great learning. You've seen my ugly face in my avatar and Kyles better looking face, so just walk up and say hi. We'll be glad to see you. You can't miss me, tall , ugly face, beard, roman collar, big cross, pretty easy to find. See you there.

Hi,

I'm from England and will be performing in the "Stars of Tommorow" show. I am really looking forward to the convention and hopefully chatting to some of you guys.

The convention seems to be very different to British conventions, what kind of atmosphere should I expect?

Hi Ben,

Congratulations my friend on being selected for the Stars of Tomorrow show. It is a huge honor and I know you will have a great experience. My wife and I work back stage at the stars of tomorrow show so will get to meet you first hand at the tech reharsal and work with you during the actual show as well. I look forward to meeting and working with you one on one. My pleasure.

You will have a fantastic time. So much to do, see and learn and the best is that frienships are made that last a lifetime. Hanging out in the dealers room and hanging out jamming magic after the evening show are always so much fun.

My better looking face? hehehe Thanks so much Photius. That was nice of you. Make sure I give you an extra firm handshake when we meet my friend. hehe I also can not be missed. look for the crazy goofy guy with the balding hairline. I can also be found running around crazy like trying to figure out how I am going to handle my back stage duties and getting stuff ready for the lecture/session I will take part in. But please if you see me, stop me and say hello. It would be a pleasure to meet you all.

Justin: It will be a pleasure to meet you and share some magic. If you get a chance, I would love to have you in the audience for my lecture/session to be held on Friday morning. It is a lecture/session called curtain call and I will be doing it with 2 others on the panel. It should be a great 90 minute lecture/session covering off on creativity and performance in magic. I hope it might beof interest to you. It would be a pleasure to find and hear your thoughts afterwards. Look forward to seeing everyone at the convention.

For those who are going, when are you all arriving?

Any questions I or someone else might be ableto answer for you?
