I have decided to go with a Jet-Set backdrop to use in my school shows. Does anyone have a picture of one that they use in their shows? I know what they look like, I just want to see one setup with props and tables in front of them.
If so, please post the pics. here or you can email them to me @ Thanks so much! |

This may give you a little bit better idea of what it will look like.

Todd,
I was told by Stevens that because of their light weight, be careful to only use these in closed areas indoors pretty much. I"m sure you already know that, but I wanted to let you know just in case. If you're using it for school shows, should'nt be a problem. Also, I've only seen them used with silks...are you using silks? chris |

Thanks everyone but I am already aware of what they look like on websites that are trying to sell them.
I am looking for someone who has a picture of them either performing with one behind them or a picture of their setup. Thanks! P.S. I am going to either make a lightweight curtain or use a silk. I just don't like the silks that they offer with the Jet Set. |

Todd. I have one and I can try and set up mine as I do when I perform with it. This can show you the actual Jet-Set set up for performance and not shown just as a website picture. I have it in the truck and can go out now and get it, set it up and try and take a shot of it for you. My curtain is flat black for the one I have easily available to me so I hope that will be ok for you. Let me know if you would like me to do this for you and what shots you would like me to take. It would be my pleasure to help you with this.

You are too kind Kyle. I would like to see it from a distance as well as up close, if possible. Thanks so much!

Sure thing. Let me try and get that out tomorrow and set it up and take a few shots with the curtain on and without and I can also take a few with it packed down for you if you would like. Not a problem. I will just have to do it when I get home. So as long as work does not keepme late tomorrow, I should be able to snap a few shots for you. This way you can see it as I use it for performance and such.Hope it helps. I willkeep you posted as soon as am able to take the shots and upload them.

I have the 8X8 jet set with the two color (black and red) backdrop fabric. I like it for smaller venues. I know that Kyle is extremely helpful. I don't have any photos, but could take one for you later this week. Let me know. Max |

These are neat little backdrops. I don't use mine very often but it can sure clean up a messy 'stage' area. Spend an extra 25 clams on a sand bag for the base. Better safe than sorry.

Hi All,
As promised I took a few shots of my Jet Set backdrop and I will try and post a few of them here for those of you who may be intersted in seeing it up close and set up for a show. I hope it might help answer some of your questions. This first shot is of the Jet-Set broken down and ready to travel. You will also see the curtain folded up and I shot the picture with a video case so you can get a relationship to overall size. Click here to view attached image.

This next shot is of the backdrop without the curtain. I placed a black cloth behind it just to help show a bit more contrast to the actual metal bars. I hope it helps you see how the bars extend and wehat it looks like before the curtain is placed over it. I apologize for the mess on the floor. hehe

This shot is of the Jet Set all put together and with the backdrop placed on. I also included a suitcase style table as well as a Botania so you have a reference to size and how it can look in a performance set up. Please keep in mind that the black table is not the one I use in performance with this backdrop. I did not want to have to get my other table out of the truck. You should still be able to get a good idea of what it looks like all put together.

Wow, Kyle, that was really nice of you!!!
I really like this, and it looks like a breeze to set up. Do you find yourself ever feeling like you need two? Not just for angles, but to just plain have a bigger backdrop for the look of your show when you want it? Chris |
