I thought this effect (set of coins) was called "The Alchemist's Dream" or something similiar...am I remembering this wrong?

"Foreign Exchange" is also the name of an effect in Chapter 22 of 21st Century Coin Mechanics. It's like a Wild Coin effect done with completely different moves.

There is a routine on James Lewis' video "Million Dollar Mysteries". It uses a Silver/Copper/Brass coin set for a routine called "Foreign Exchange".

I agree what JTW said, it's similar or even the same as the trick "The Alchemist's Dream"
In love with magic!
