I'm working on something where I need a pen, marker, or something that will write on playing cards, like a Sharpie, but NOT dry out with no cap on it...and it needs to be "ready to go" so the Sharpie "click" type wouldn't work for this.
Anybody ever use anything else or know what would work???? THANKS!!!! |

Try a grease pencil or china marker.

Good call, Lee. Also, crayon. Which reminds me of a cool effect by Looy Simonoff ("Kenomental" from Apocalypse, vol. 1, No. 4 - April, 1978).

THANKS for the advice!!! I'm sure somthing like this would work.
Actually it'd be fun to take a playing card to an office suppy store and "experiment" with what they have there...since there's new stuff coming out all the time but nice to know one of these will work anyway!! |

They make those pens with paint in them like at scrap book stores. They write on cards well.

I've resorted to ball-point pen, gel pen and even hilighter (I performed a lot at school. Also, a charcoal pencil should work out.

STAEDTLER permanent Lumocolor "B"
That is the secret! You can find the markers at a professional Art's Supply Store. Enjoy! KW |
