Do any of you use your parrots in magic? Definitely, producing a parrot magically is spectacular but what more can your parrots do.
I want to start a thread on tricks your parrot can do. Here are some: 1.Three Shell Game 2.Three Card Monte 3.Genii Tube 4.Ball & Vase 5.Change Bag 6. Pick a Card and Parrot selects the right card 7. Free Flight around the audience 8. Free Flight fetching a bill which he brings to you to do the bill switch. Any other more ideas? I will add more but it's your turn guys.

Hi Lou,
Can you yourself do all that? If so, That's amazing. I guess it is the Hyacinth that gets the bill from someone? |

There is a company in Hot Springs, Arkansas that can train birds and most other animals to do anything you like. The name has changed a few times but I.Q. Zoo and Zoo with I.Q. have been the most recent that I know. It is the remains of the works of behavioralist B.F. Skinner that you studied in college psychology for the Skinner Box.
I was very impressed with the variety of things birds are trained to do there. Playing music was one of the strangest bird skills I've ever observed. If you get the chance to visit there, by all means GO! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

My parrots do perform quite a number of tricks but I only mentioned "parrot magic tricks" in this thread. I do use B.F. Skinner's technique with the clicker method. It's the best and gentle way.
