Looks kinda skinny, but cool.

I believe there is a website that details how to turn a silver coin into a silver ring, it used a spoon or other sort of object to bang the edges of the coin flat, and actually thicker as you kept banging or pressing (forget details) the coin in.

Once it was ring thickness, you could drill out the inside and then start working the inside as well... I think this could be done since it was silver(kennedy) and relatively soft.

I was told, by my Grandmother, that some of these "coin rings" originated in the jails, or prisons. The spoon was the hammer, and when done "correctly" the image of the coin face was distorted, yet preserved on the ring!
