Hi Alex
There was a dealer on FISM from German which they are building illusions, but I do not have their name. They had several illusions made of metal.
There is also Mephisto from Blguim.

Has anyone brought illusions from Europe. Is the freight expensive? How does the cost compare to the US? What about the quality?

On a side note regarding freight, it really depends what you're getting built. I have sold a few used illusions and have made enquiries on shipping to overseas. Its incredibly expensive. I've found that items tend to be worked out on size so you may have an illusion that is very lightweight but when its calculated, the shippers work out that the weight for the size you have given is considerably over what it actually is. Say you have an item that weighs 7kg. You give the sizes, and according to their calculations the weight comes out as 15kg. Hope this makes sense???? Its a very strange way of working it out.
