I just found this:
 I think that Doug is now obviously trying to make us believe that he is not a robot, though the above picture seems to disprove that fact!
Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

Though - it may be true that he isn't actually a robot, but is in fact a monster, since I found this as well:

I said it above and I'll say it again...the usage of the word 'hate' must be in it's proper form. I used it as an homage to 'Grouchy Smurf' who turned the dispicable word into one of non sequitor...thus it should refer to the LAST word spoken by the PRIOR speaker...but ONLY when it makes NO sense.
ie: "I hate lightbulb spongecake hardening on the windshield flower!" Proper response would be "I hate flower." Any other form has lost its humor and reason to be... Ignoring this 'suggestion' will cause you to seem rather dense and make others revert to a good mood at your expense. get it right or be square. Get it right and be swell.
