Hi everyone,

I've been doing magic for a while now as a hobby. I am looking for some book recommendations that will give me some great impromptu card magic. I already have the following

Dear Mr Fantasy - Bannon
CUCM - Lorayne
BoF - Lorayne
Apocalypse - Lorayne
Classic magic of Jennings
lots more.....

I find that the books mentioned above have some great impromptu effects so I thought I'd mention them!

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rennie

My very favorite card book, The Card Magic of Nick Trost. Another good one (many packets though) Is Focus by Goldstein / Maven..I cannot omit Effortless Card Magic by Peter Duffie..

The effect is the important thing, how you achieve it is not.......

J.K. Hartman's books: Card Craft, After Craft, Trickery Treats.

Check out most of Peter Duffies e-books. I agree with Rennie about Effortless Card Magic. It's now available as an e-book download.

Try "self working card tricks-Karl Fulves" & "scarne on card triks", there are a lot of self working card tricks, and all are relatively easy.

The Fulves and Beam books are excellent. Of course, I'm fond of "Simply Imprompt2" by Aldo Colombini because it includes one of my routines...

Marlo Without Tears, Classic Magic of Jennings, and Complete Works of Derek Dingle. Full of practical and often impromptu material.

Best,
