I am seriously loving it, Baba. I'm only about a third of the way through (I've been way to busy). I'll post more tonight. Great writing, great stories! I don't know that the effects are "easy". Simple in their workings, yes, but you need to be a strong story teller/actor to pull 'em off. I think this is a good thing. You are indeed a credit to our strange little branch of magic. So, I'm thinking I'm going to take up "The Undertaker", tieing it up with my coffin nail routine. I've got a lovely piece of wood from the tracks behind my house that will be great.

When do you get the book? Don't know, but it's worth the wait.

When will I do a good review? Tonight, I hope. . . depends on when they let me out of the asylum today.

When will I take up "The Undertaker"? Uh. . . soon. . . yeah. . . not for this Halloween though. I think it'll take time to work it out to suit me. Sweet routine, though.

When will someone win my stuff over at you-know-where? Not sure, I'm behind in my counting. I think it's getting soon though. It's this *** job that's interfering. . .

Woohoo! I just got a nice little package today, and lo and behold it contained a book from a certain Baba. So far I've read the very touching introduction about ole St. George, and I'm already hooked. Can't wait to read more.

Just got mine today - an excellent book - the format is excellent (hey, you really liked Capricornian Tales!) - the material wonderful, the narration rivetting... plus a nice education on the background of the art....

I've got a double whammy on my hands - while I haven't got a nicely bound and hot off the presses VoDuMagick just yet, I did receive my copy of The Compleat Invocation (the original - vols I & II ) this Saturday.
Yeah, I finally found a copy in excellent condition and for a very good price, and I leapt on it. What the hell, you only die once.
I have enough reading to do between the two of them to last me years.

Baba's book was waiting for me when I got home yesterday.

I blame Baba for my present state, mind whirling, secret plans incubating, waiting for my next opportunity to unleash my newfound knowlege on the unsuspecting public...My own inability to speak without a slight Hatian accent.
Read the durned book until well after three this morning.
Full review will come upon completion.
Even without the techniques, it would be one heck of a read.

Goodness, I do love the man.
I have only had enough time to read his introduction to St. George, but Baba's writing style suits me to a T.
Two things bother me.
1. He writes better than I do.
2. I have so much to do that is going to have to wait.
I am hooked.
I Believe. This is going to be a great read.

It's not just the magic, it's the storytelling style that welcomes you like an old friend, and then feels as comfortable as a favorite blanket.
