This is by far, one of my favorite tricks (This and String Theory) I love how it looks, and cannot WAIT for it to arrive in 5-10 days =)
I'm seeking some quick advice, can I do this with other small items? Or is it only a card, and is this a really hard trick, or something with repitious practice, I'll have down pat? |

You'll get it down pretty easily. I've used borrowed credit cards, you can use quarters too but that's problematic. Don't worry about it. It's a good purchase. You'll like it.

For street magic, Hummer Card really get people's attention as you spin the card like it has wings. You'll have lots of fun with it, enjoy!

Personally I found a beer bottle cap to be the best, is weighs enough to not be affected by wind and it looks cool to laymen.

Excellent excellent.
As for wind and street magic 'gather round gather round' - hey presto - wind eliminated by the throngs of gawping spectators all longing to see your flying cards! Um, and if the throngs are noticably absent - try performing it in a corner or something - that also works! |

Once you have the prop, let me know. I will then tell you how Hummer really did it.

Aren't you glad you bought "The Hummer Card" instead of a Hummer? (They seem to return to auctions pretty quickly.) LOL

I didn't care too much for that effect.

Hi
Need advice on placing the 'gimmick' on to the card without drawing attention from the audience. Thanks. |

Don't look at it. Get the gimmick close. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Place it when you take the card. Talk (look at) to the spectator when you place the gimmick.

Is this the same trick as Houdini's Magic Shop's UFO (Ultra Floating Object) trick?
