For those of you who are interested in Anthony Miller's new coin wallet, it's now up on the RFA website.
http://www.rfaproductions.com/products/coinwallet.htm Reading the ad copy on the web page made me smile because whenever I do a coin routine, I produce my traditional, clasped coin purse and say, "Let me just pull out this manly coin purse..." Beat. Wait for the laugh. Look perplexed. "What? A lot of guys carry these?... Right?"

I made a brief mention on this in my review of the Triple Threat Wallet last night, but now that I am the proud owner of one today, let me restate it in it's very own Big Boy thread.
This is a brilliant utility device. This is a must have for all coin workers out there; especially those who carry around gaff sets. (If you spend hundreds of dollars on custom gaffs, what is $20 more to carry them in). The beauty of this wallet is the secret pocket in the back that delivers a coin directly into finger or classic palm. It can be used for just about any effect. Dump 5 coins out of the wallet into their hands, they see an empty wallet, but you are prepped and ready to go. Or...dump 3 coins out of the wallet into their hands for Copper/Silver/Brass, and they see an empty wallet, and a split second later, gaff is loaded in your hand. The wallet is about the size of a large book of matches. It is very well tailored and you can not see any bulge in the secret pocket that will deliver the coin. I just got done loading my Ultimate 3 Fly into the purse, with secret thingy in the pocket. But I will also get another one for Copper/Silver/Brass. I can't say enough good things about this wallet. It is not just a carrying case, it is a utility device. Very attractive, very practical and a very good bargain. Tony would have to give you the actual dimensions. I know it carries the Ultimate 3 Fly with no problem. I know when Tony showed me his, it was loaded with Morgan Silver Dollars and Shell. I also tried my Copper/Silver/Brass set and I could have got 2 of them in there. (There is a divider in the purse to carry 2 sets). So, I can't say for sure how many coins to carry, but it should work for just about any. Another solid winner from RFA Productions. I just left Tony a message ordering 2 more. |

Oh man!!!! Last month I finally completed my collection of Channel One (paid through the nose, but had been hunting down issues 6 & 7 for almost a year). Last week I dropped $130 on both new wallets (which I CANNOT wait to get my hands on [hopefully this week]). My wife is gonna shoot me for this but, darn it, what's another $20? Sheesh!! I may as well just tatoo "RFA," or "Rosie for Prez" (sorry Tony) on the back of my... neck!

Got the Real Man's Coin Wallet and it's beautiful. I mean, it's perfect. I would use this even if it didn't have the secret chamber that's how beautiful it is!!

After playing with Michael Dustman's coin wallet, I had to pick one up for myself. Great buy for $20....Problem was that Michael also convinced me to buy a new Schoolcraft expanded shell set and gravity flipper so that I'd have some quality coins to store in the wallet. When the wife sees the bill, you are all invited to my funeral. You can all do a 21, 3-fly salute in my memory.

OK....this is now my Copper/Silver/Brass holder. There are two inside compartments so I can have the extra 2 coins for Cody Fishers routine and......the secret pocket in the back holds the gimmick. This is too cool!!!

Just received mine today (after having gotten the Triple Threat and Hip Pocket Bombshell last week) and I am now officially in wallet heaven. Let me tell you... this puppy really barks, and has plenty of BITE! My mind has been racing with ideas for its use since this afternoon, when I first tore open the package and ripped off the plastic wrapper. Exceptional quality leather, masterful stitching and ingenius design. This is everything I would have expected (and then some) from the mind of Mr. Miller. All this for only $20!! It blows me away. Trust me... get one now.

The funny thing is, I have received numerous PM's saying how I should have charged much more fore the wallets... I charged what I thought was a fair price, and I even took a bit of a loss on my overseas shipping. I did that so people in other countries would not get gutted by shipping charges. I guess what I am trying to say is thank you to all of you who seem to be pleased with my wallets.

I purchased this along with the Hip Pocket Bombshell. Both of these are really classy pieces. I used to hold my coins with my bills, but that won't work with the routines I want to do with the Hip Pocket Bombshell. I was thinking about using my old coin purse to hold my spending coins, but it's just not manly enough. I think I have to buy another one of these.

I don't think it matters much what you carry your coins in, but this is so innocuous and holds my 3 Fly coins so well. I can take out the coins and hand them out ( silver dollars are now a bit of a novelty and it's best to let them see it before the routine ) it lets you steal the **ell. lol.
Very well made and sits nicely in my pocket. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/1595 |

Agreed, I like mine a lot (it's in my pocket as I type this, with a C/S/B set). I purchased mine from Tony himself via his website http://rfaproductions.com/products/effects.htm The one I purchased from Tony is very solidly made with high quality leather, and is holding up quite well since the day I bought it, despite a lot of use and abuse.
While there, also check out his triple threat and hip pocket bombshell wallets -- I have one or both of these on me at all times, and cannot recommend them more highly.
