OK, first off I'm a techno-tard when it comes to computers. My question: on the browsers when I go to Google or Yahoo and type in a search, it pulls up all my prior searches in kind of like a dropdown menu under it. For instance, if I start to type in "magic" it pulls up "magic, magicians, etc" to choose from. How do I clear all of those? They annoy me half to death. I've tried hiliting them and trying to delete them, but it won't let me. Any help appreciated. Jim

Its called auto complete and it can be turned off for both web addresses and username & passwords.

Here is what you need to do...

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Content tab.
4. Click the AutoComplete button.
5. Click to remove checkmarks from these items:

* Web addresses
* Forms
* User names and passwords on forms
* Prompt me to save passwords

6. Click the Clear Forms button.
7. Click the Clear Passwords button.
8. Click OK.

Hope that helps.

If you use Mozlla Firefox, right click on the Google bar and you will see a Clear Search History tab. You can clean out your old search then. Smile
