Hmm I'm not sure if this is something new for you guys, but it's his next release. It seems like something you can do with a stack or BCS, but I would love to be proved otherwise. Anyway, check it out here.

It looks pretty good.

Seems like the spectator is allowed a free shuffle, so a stack is unlikely. I wonder how closely the deck can be examined before and after.
Kevin Parker's presentation is always so low-key ...it cracks me up. |

It is offered as a download, I wonder if the download explains how to make a gimmicked deck?
I get to gaff some cool stuff for some cool people

This one is intriguing. In the demo the deck is really mixed up.

That's not to say that this uses a stack, but just because a spectator misintepreted instructions and the trick still ended up working out doesn't mean that it doesn't. |

How would a stack help you if the spec is cutting to where ever he likes?

Kevin uses a simple stack, deck CANNOT be shuffled by spectator! quite disappointing.

The deck IS mixed, by the spectator. It is very clear in the video. Also, this is from the descrption of the effect:
"The spectator is given a deck of cards and is told to give it a quick mix after the magician turns his back to him."

Fellas,
You might want to check out this thread, with posts from people who ACTUALLY BOUGHT the thing. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......9&17 I believe what Kevvy said, Parker was just lucky at that time (of the demo) that when the spectator shuffled the deck, he just so happened to look at a card that was still in sequence with the stack. Notice too, that the spectator performed a very sloppy overhand shuffle, which, if you think about it DOES maintain certain packets of the stack. Everyone who bought this has sang the same tune, "Rip off". I don't know about you, but I'm sticking with BCS. Remember, it's all in the presentation. Take care guys, Logan

Hey Guys
Kevin has kept his word and changed the advertisement. He also has gave some refunds so give him some credit here. I will continue to purchase future items from him. Thanks! |

To anyone who bought this...
How is the video quality? I bought Passing Thru from him and the quality was baaaaaad! Bad lighting (harsh sunlight coming in from the right), bad location (he's sitting on his couch for crying out loud), bad videography (I suspect his girlfriend or sister since you can hear a female giggle at a spectator's response), and bad editing. If I'm going to spend $20 on a single effect, I expect a little more effort. |

Hey Guys Only after he received responses from people about the inaccuracies of the vid and ad did he make corrections to them. If nobody had complained would he have made the corrections?

I got this video and I must say it is bad produciton quality and the trick itself is kinda boring, even the reactions of the spectators are "oh, that was cool... I guess"
not really worth it |
