Hello all!

This is my presentation of the Mental Photography deck. I'm torn as to whether this is too long or not. If you could give me your feedback, I'd really appreciate it! My handling is heavily influenced by Bill Malone's, but the patter is all mine. Thanks for your help and advice!

First I will say that I liked the whole thing. I did feel it was a bit too long, but that was when I wanted to watch it again.

Looks good, agree though a ittle lengthy for most situations. One thing in this type of routine that I do not like is the drop display of the backs. I spread the cards showing the faces into my and and then lift the whole 'mess' and show the backs. I am sure it is just a personal thing, but the drop of the backs just does not look natural, IMO.

I do like the casual style and the patter does not seem scripted, just like telling a story.

Solimar - this is a very promising idea, but it needed to go much faster, with less proving. Now you've got the technique and the storyline in place, I'm sure you can edit this down by half and have a much more entertaining effect.

Yes, I agree with Foucault to speed up the performance. I think the patter works, just hit me with an effect within the first 30 seconds.

I think three minutes would be a good goal to get this performance down to.

Great job.

Interesting and original plot!

I enjoyed that very much!

I'm quite sure in real life, should you perform this, it would be faster - we normally take our time in front of the camera don't we?

Good job and take care!

Well done
again in a 5 minute routine nothing happens till the first 2:30 is over. Might want to shorten it cuz of this

good luck
