Oh, and I'm sure I've left some out from my collection, but I can't believe I omitted one of my favorites, A Shoggoth on the Roof. http://www.cthulhulives.org/shoggoth/

Don't forget Sweeney Todd! And there's a movie of it, in production.

I've met Bruce Campbell a couple of times now, just recently in Santa Barbara. He just finished a film due out called "My Name is Bruce" where a town ravaged by demons decides to get some help and hire "that Evil Dead guy". Bruce tries to explain he is just an actor and the body count rises... The film is being produced by Dark Horse, so it better ROCK.
Sound like a total hoot. Too bad he couldn't be in the musical. Maybe if it hits Broadway, he and Ted Raimi will join up. We need something to counteract the Disney Kid Flick to Broadway Play phenomenon - a cult film to Broadway Play. We did it with Monty Python, Evil Dead is next! And on a side note, they did announce Evil Dead 4. "The remake 'concept' has been getting a lot of feedback lately, and not all of it good. Folks can relax in knowing that we would never knowingly screw up the series. A remake will get made fairly soon, but there is no start date, no director and no script. Other than that, we're ready to jump into production!" -Bruce

No director?? There can only be one director (provided he can shake the spider webs long enough to get the job done).

Although not a true musical, 2001 Maniacs has quite a bit of song included.

Hi Tony. I have the soundtrack to Two Thousand Maniacs, by Hershel Gordon Lewis (which includes the soundtrack to Blood Feast). Next time I watch the movie I'll count them again to see if there are 2001 maniacs.

2001 Maniacs is the remake of 2000 Maniacs. It stars Robert Englund (Freddie Kreuger)
It's really a humorous film. Gwyd |

I see, another remake of a classic horror film. Robert Englund with a Confederate Flag Eye Patch. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0264323/
The original was also quite humorous. |

I have decided to write a musical based on "Attack Of The Crab Monsters", my favorite 50's monster flick.
"Scratching scratching...hear them scratching...scrambling on the rocks below... Booming booming across the island blowing up the rocks below... No more places...no more caves no more ground to hide in fear Crabs are talking in my head they're everywhere...my God they're here! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Yeah...that'll work.

That is the one I was referring to. "The South shall rise again..." Doug: You write it, I'll produce it. Tony |
