Has anyone read this book? What do you think about it?

Are you talking about the "Scotland" edition or "Japanese" edition?

Both are excellent.

I have both. The Japanese one uses a lot of gaffs, but is sure to fool magicians. The Scotland one is more skill, and has a few gems if you look deep enough.

Personally, I LOVE the way Japanese think about magic (assuming that "Five Times Five" is an accurate representation of their cultural "take" on magic). It's so visual and offbeat.
I combined two tricks ("The Appearing Deck" by Fujiwara followed by "BoxBack" by Maeda) and fried the guys at a local club meeting. So startlingly visual (and rather simple to do)! I cannot recommend this book (the Japanese version) too highly.

I just got the book on saturday and I am please with the contents. Is that bullet move really possible? I just don't get it.

The bullet is possible and looks great (when done right.) I talked about this in the coin section. Play with it and you will work out some neat coin stuff. I did. I also work stand-up.
Have fun ouT. Spydur |
