Hi guys,
I am selling my Gravity Box on eBay this week (beginning March 3, 2007). I used it for an anti-smoking presentation to demonstrate the debilitating effects of emphysema. I no longer need it. It's in mint condition, and the reserve price is set at $100 off the original $395 price. If you want it you me an email or bid on eBay. |

I have not seen or used a gravity box that I was impressed with. Just another way for manufacturers to make money off of what used to be a great illusion. Horrible props being made as far as these boxes go. You couldn't pay me enough to trust one of these boxes in a show.

Actually, I think it is a very well-made prop and is deceptive. Doug Malloy does great work. There are copies (with handles) that I wouldn't trust but to call Doug's Gravity Box a horrible prop is absurd.

Havent seen Malloys nor called it horrible. Just the ones Ive seen so far, or used. Yes, if it has a handle, be carefull.
Id like to see a malloy box in works, or at least a video. Ive heard there are limitations to the type of flooring used... is this correct. |

I have a opaque acrylic table that works. (Less lifting force from the standing position)

Sorry to resurrect a thread from almost a year ago. I have one question, though: Would placing the Gravity Box on a glass tabletop work?
Thanks for your help! |

It looks like glass, but made out of a "plastic" type material. Used a lot on the sides of public phone booths.
