Check out this rope routine. It's got several great things going for it.
If you know how well the Prof. Nightmare works for laymen and want to make it even bigger, this is for you.

For strolling engagements, I don't cut the rope. I use a standard 3-piece setup. For a stand-up routine, I DO want to use scissors and actually cut the rope. This is fine for me as I'm not going to be repeating it all night long.

Dan does a great routine. The beginning where the ropes are cut is fantastic (and is apparently a Slydini idea). Cellini does a similar thing on "The Art of 2...". A wonderful beginning when you actually use scissors.

Also, I just fell in love with the complete restoration that follows Dan's
Professor's Nightmare. A great finish. Back to one piece of rope from 3.
Easy to do, and I'll be doing it.

I've been doing the Professor's Nightmare quite a lot lately, and I will be using this routine for sure in my stand-up shows.

Here's what the DVD says:
Ropes: A rope routine that runs the gamut from C & R rope to Professor's Nightmare to a 3 to 1 restoration. A complete act on it's own.

I agree.
The DVDs are great, but this routine took the cake for me.

I agree. Dan's routine, from his new DVD set - Finally!, is a fantastic version that kills. Highly recommended.

Mark.
