I am traveling to Denver in November, last two weeks, and wondering if anyone knows of places, magic-wise, to check out there? Shows, etc.

Check out the Theatre of Dreams, south of Denver in Castle Rock.

They have shows every weekend. Sometimes it is the resident illusionists, sometimes it's a guest magi.

There is also a magician on weekends at Casa Bonita Mexican Restaurant on W. Colfax. That's quite the family establishment, not so suitable for a solo visit.
