Howdy!
Thanks for the question! Another chance to shamelessly advertise. Here’s some information regarding Best of the Bottoms. Master Steve Forte provided the very kind quote on the DVD cover. "”A world class cardman and technician supreme, Richard Turner is the Real deal! As one of the finest card technicians on the planet, Richard advances the science of card manipulation to heights never dreamed of!" Master Steve is a very generis man and I thank him for all his kindness! To start off with, In this 4 hour two DVD set, I use my 35 years of martial arts footage to talk about discipline, over coming obstacles and I address the many speculations about my super bat-like vision. Questions like is it true that I block with my face rather than my hands. It's true, my hands are valuable my head is hollow. I have ran into everything including a brick wall and have never gone down. The DVD closes with my 1984 ten round bout against ten different fighters. The fights were covered by an ABC affiliate and on the front page of the LA Times sports section. When the fights were over I had a ruptured eardrum, the bottom of my spit bucket was covered with blood from a stinging jab to the nose in the second round. I was kicked in the, what is called in Texas Hold’em (the nuts) dozens of times including a knee jammed between the legs in the eighth round after the ref called break. Very invigorating! I also fought the last three rounds with a broken arm from a roundhouse kick. The two DVD’s also include many bottom deals, gambling routines, magic effects and I finally teach my See Saw Bottom Deal with my Clip Take. Magicians and cardmen have been asking me for tips on it for years. The predominant features are very little finger flashing, and there is not the loud, different snapping noise as you will hear from many bottom dealers. Many of the shots are in slow motion and from under a glass table so you can clearly see the below actions and finger work. Like many magic DVDs it has its warts but all in all many people have told me it is their favorite. I also show the bottom deal that Edd Marlo thought was only a Vernon story. The bottom deal was shown to Professor by some crossroader. The deck lays loosly in a flat open hand as the bottoms are taken. (I loved it for high spade in the hole for seven stud catching the K-S or A-S on the last round.) The Best of the Bottoms DVD can be found at your favorite magic supplier. Or you can go to richardturner52.com and order it through Pay Pal. Here you get a personally signed The Cheat poster with your order. Whoopee doo! Good luck! |
