Kaplan´s Clock Trick (George G. Kaplan)

I don’t think I see how your proposed rule makes this game more challenging. This game has been a lot of fun for the past 2-½ years and I don’t see a reason to end this game. I think to make this game more challenging is to add another requirement to each post. Such as, what publication is the trick/ effect found. Just my two cents. My vote: Nay (not in favor of Jstone’s motion.) ~John |

I'm with you, John Heggie.
Sorry, jstone. You can drop out whenever you feel the time is right. I understand. Personally, I'm going to keep on keeping on. Despite what some may think, I actually get quite of bit of info and ideas, motivation and inspiration out of this thread. Karate Kid (Karl Fulves, from Prolix #4) |

I'm very much in favour of John Heggie's idea "to add another requirement to each post. Such as, what publication is the trick/ effect found."

No worries guys. I wasn't trying to drop out or end the game, and it's been fun. I just thought that if we knew that we weren't "allowed" to continue the game if nothing was posted for a week (or whatever time frame), then it might add an extra level of excitement to the game knowing that we have a time limit.
It's the difference between Chess and Speed Chess... just thought it would up the stakes as I mentioned in my original suggestion... however, either way's cool with me. |

BodyByFood,
Welcome to the Card Trick Game. I appreciate your enthusiasm but wait until another member post after you before entering another post. It adds to the challenge of this game. ~John Back to 'D' d/Warp (Don England, Don England's Paradox page 119) ****Full list on Page 148***** |
