Yes it is a card trick. Shortly: you use ten cards and some jumbo cards and a large envelope. Three of the ten are selected and all of them are dropped into the envelope. Another spectator acts as a magician and tries to pick out the selected cards but he can’t. After some help from the performer who produce selected cards in Jumbo size from the envelope, one card remain where it is written – You`re fired.

Yes, Belcher has a few card tricks in this book.
