I didn't think it looked all that bad.....condidering how close-up it was It was pretty cool! BTW, if youre going to do the head-off illusion, I'd reccomend using it in conjunction with the Iron Garrote...after you yank the garrotte, take a bow & whoops!!

Seriously,
I think if you are going to perform a head off illusion you need to talk to someone in the Egyptian Antiquites department. They have the "rights"- Jim Steinmeyer ripped them off from them. They have a 3000 year old hiero thingy to prove it. G0THIKE |

I saw Peter Marvey do this effect at FISM back in Dresden 1997.
Doesn't this predate the Japanese TV appearance? Or is it considered a different effect because he stood behind a table? I note Tora is selling the head drop effect on his website. Did he ask permission from anyone or is it pretty much considered a 'Public Domain' effect for some reason?
