Hi,
Ive just received Ginn Glitter Pom Pom Pole: it is a wonderful item. I know that lots of magicians developed their routine based on the story of four of anything ( David sent me a routine on "a balanced life as a Christian" but it seems to me very hard to develop during a show for children 8's and under). I am working on a routine for kids with the help of this trick: any suggestion on a modern message I can deliver? Thanks in advance/Fabio |

Hi Fabio-
I have a Pom Pom Pole Routine for holiday/Christmas shows that will be published in an upcoming issue of "MAGIC" magazine in David Kaye's "Turn It Around" column. The routine is called "The Night I Met Santa Claus". Not sure if this is the sort of thing you're looking for, but it's been a very strong routine for me for the past 8 or 10 years in my holiday show. Terry Parrett |

I have always used the Pom Pom pole in kids show as I explain that I wanted something special for the show. I tell them I stopped at a magic shop and how the man showed me this Pom Pom pole and how I couldn't get it to work etc.
Kids really laugh when at the end I just say "I never did figure it out" and put it away. I have just been doing it for 5 minutes they point out. No I say, I was just telling you what happened. Lots of laughs.

Neale, that is interesting that is almost my patter outline to a tee, Mine is a break apart pom so I end it by stating "since I didn't understand the shop's instructions I would just tear it apart & examine the strings connecting the pom poms, but naturally when I break it apart there are no strings to examine.

I do one of the routines that Ali Bongo explained to me. It is a long confusing ramble...but the funny part is the squeeking red pom pom...(squeeker sewn into my pants at the knee allows me to slightly push the knees together making a squeek noise every time I grab the red pom pom.
