Jim Gerrish invented this in 2003, right about the time I went into the hospital, so I had never actually seen one until he recently made one for his book "The Hardboard and Duct Tape Magic Show" and showed me how he performed it using his "Forgetful Whatever." In this case, Jim built a coyote prop for the Forgetful, to match the props in his "Hippity Hops" and his "Run, Roadrunner, Run" for the book. Anyway, he put the coyote head into the Optical Delusionator and it visibly shrank down to about the size of a silver dollar and then vanished in a flash of fire (optional).

If you use any of the various versions of Milbourne Christopher's Forgetful Freddy, you may just want to check this out as a possible replacement for your Devil's Hank vanish of the head. It's on my site in the Table of Contents for Jim's Book.
