First of all, I want to say I really enjoy Andrew's twisted, sick sense of humor. I have to say that my favorite effect on the video is the "paperclip thru arm". You think you've seen this one and how it's done right? Well the effect remains basically the same, with the way he does it. But "the stuff" you use with your skin is applied in a new, different way, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SPECTATORS! They never even see it done. It's great. There are a bunch of effects on here, I will list them out for you.
Pencil Thru Cheek Bowling Pin Head Stabbed Lit Take-out Spike Thru Toungue Parts 1&2 Fun With A Rubber Chicken Lunch For Cthuhlu Bed Of Thumbtacks(presentaion only, no "explanation" DO NOT TRY AT HOME, HURTS!) Bob Roach:Psychic Entertainer Brain Damage All of these effects are awsoeme in and of themselves. They offer a taste of the nastier side of magic to the spectator. There are 1 or 2 effects that are not the most practical, but can be worked in easily. If you really want to gross someone out with your sick eating habits, perform the "Fun With A Rubber Chicken" added in with "Lunch For Cthuhlu" That can make for a very disturbing routine. Overall, I give this vidao a 4 1/2 out of 5. Awsome video, I higly reccomend anyone get this, no matter what part of magic you are into, you can get something from here to use and gross enemies and friends out with!
Coming soon... Who knows!

I would have to agree. The popping your head and production of the bowling ball are worth the price of the tape.

I would have to agree with that toatally Segal. I LOVED the bowling ball production, very simple and straightforward, but awsome effect.

On the video, probably my favorite most two effects were Bowling and the Pencil through cheek. They are simple, yet very effective.
Also the paperclip through arm is a pretty nice routine I think too. I think the video is very good since I like his style of performing and thinking. It probably matters with what taste of magic and thinking you like to get the most out of the video. I also think it is worth the price. Just my 2 cents.. Mack Magic

Could someone discribe all of the effects? I'd really like to get that video. Does anyone know if there are any plans for a DVD version? That would be cool.
But, in watching the demonstration vid, i thought it was fairly obvious what he was doing in the pen thru cheek. Boy... I'm going to have to get this video for my birthday. |

It's an awsome video, I don't have the time to describe all the effects right now. All I can say is, you won't be dissapointed with it. And trust me, usually the lays never know what's happening when u do pencil thru cheek right. I'm working on a gimmick so you can show it halfway thru on both sides of the mouth. Inside and outside. I also may add some blood to the effect with it. If I get Andrew's permission, I may even sell/give it to some people here to test it out.

I think I'm going to get it pretty soon. Does he actually lie on a bed of thumbtacks? is that it?
Is the paper bag that you produce a bowling ball from shown empty? On the demo it looks like he's just shaking it and looking in it. Do the spectators get to see it empty? |

Lol, good point Jdclarkson. Lol. Vincenzo, if you weren't a magician, you wouldn't even have thought of it, so don't worry. It's just your magician thinking telling you that you need to show it empty. I'm sure that there is a way you can rig it up so that it can be shown empty, not examined of course, just shown from stage. So maybe you should get the video and come up with a way of showing it empty. One way is coming to mind, but I'd have to work on it a little to get it to work. But anyway, if you are at all interested in making people nauseous, scared, or just plain freaked out, get the video. You'll love some of the stuff on there. I'm actually incorporating the psychic cockroahc effect into my stage show that I am working on. I have the schedule of events worked out for it, and it sounds fun. I'm thinking of trying to find a way of doing the bowling ball prodution somewhere in there. But it's mentalism and hypnosis, so it may be somewhat hard...lol. Either way, get the video, you'll love it. It has stage, and closeup effects in it, go spend the $30, it is VERY well worth it.
