Is there anywhere I can see how a deck shell works before I spend the money? There are no local magic shops for me to go to.

Have you seen what one looks like?

Budsie & John...if I may add:
If you buy a deck shell, make sure you get the DVD that teaches how to use it! http://www.chazpro.com/servlet/Detail?no=6 I really am grateful I found that. My deck shell sat in a drawer for a year, before I got the DVD...an absolute MUST-HAVE. The extra $20 will be worth it, believe me. Doug |

Are there any books that have good routines with a deck shell switch?

Can the Deck Shell be used standing up without a table? I do a lot of walk-around at banquets, and I try to never use other people's table space.

I have a Chazpro deck shell which is made of metal. It is both very noisy (sounding like metal being used) and too shallow to hold all 52 cards. I can ditch a few cards, but any ideas how to quiet the thing down?
