My twin brother has a table that is around 30 years old and it is the same thing!
Only my brother’s table has two hooks that make it stronger. I have used the table and it is cool to set up. I can't see why the price is over $400! But, that is the business of retail magic. It will hold your stuff. The tabletop looks like the one my brother has and it has trim work that holds the tablesides in place so that the table can't open up. Nice table. |

This looks like a very well made table. The alumicore material is very expensive, so as a professional cabinetmaker, the price actually seems very reasonable.

Doug Malloy's stuff has always been a tad on the expensive side, but I have always gotten my money's worth. His products are top notch in my book!

I agree it looks really good. I would have wanted one more shelf though.
A similar table made of wood can be found here (when in stock) http://www.ronjo.com/page/R/PROD/tables/706296020431 This table is made of wood. It is VERY well made. The shelves and top are stored inside once the sides are folded in. I bought a similar porfolio case at a craft store to protect it when it is being transported. Very sturdy table. Since aluminum is lite weight this table is probably heavier, but it is also much less expensive. |

Any other info on this item? I really love it's look (with my logo on it) and the ease of setting up.
Anyone else have it and want to throw in their comments? =] -Vinnie |

I like the look of it but would like an extra shelf. Also, I'm wondering how sturdy the case is and where do I put my props now that I can't store them in my table ahead of time...hmmmm?

Make one yourself, watch the video and see how it works. All you need is a sheet of 3/8" Mahogany plywood (very cheap and very sturdy) 2 Piano hinges, Nuts, bolts, screws and a saw Estimated building cost: $50. Time: 4 hours.
that one looks very flimsy, definitely too short, (look at the guy in the vid! he was certainly not a tall person and that box was even to short for him) and most of all, its way overpriced. |

I agree. Anyone with basic skill can make any of the tables available to the magic community in a weekend or two for a fraction of what they cost.
