I saw similar manipulation done by Cellini in his DVD: Street Magic Lecture - Zurich 2005.

This is taught on the Tom Mullica VHS tapes. Check them out!

I replied in your other post as well (seems you've posted multiple times on this topic) but, for what it's worth, I recommend that you check out the works of (and conduct searches on) Tom Mullica, Slydini and Keith Clark.
Best of luck! |

Nice routine.Standard sleights.Check Keith Clark,Tenkai and Chavez.Tops Treasury of Cigarette Magic by Neil Foster is very good.Only one slight is not often seen and can be found in the May issue of the MUM 1958.It is called Berman's King Size Vanish.Hope this helps. Cordially, Howard

I believe the Tarbell Course book #2 has cigarette sleights.

I highly recommend Tom Mullica's tapes on cigarette magic.
the material is great. more than enough to put a very good cigarette routine together. -Matt

Also, looks like Slydini's cigarette restoration.
Very nice handling, not angle proof by any means.

It is not slidini's cigarette restoration. slidini's is done at a table as it requires lapping. the restoration is taught in the Mullica tapes.
the only thing that I cannot find is the last phase of his routine.does anybody know where I can find the handling for that? -Matt

Bill Tarr's Now You See It, Now You Don't has some cigarette sleights and a mini routine in it.

It looks great on video but if you notice you will have to perform this on stage or several feet from your audience. You will not have the advantage of a camera focusing on your upper body. All the references will help you rebuild his routine and with a year of daily practice you will be able to re-create these effects. |
