Thanks everyone for the great reviews on my In Your Face change! This change is defenetly something that won't let you down. Yes the change takes a little bit of practice to perfect and look AMAZING, but once you have it, it's a change that will blow your spectators out of the water.
I've been experimenting on a few routines with the In Your Face move, that hopefully I will be able to share with everyone. To those who have purchased this effect, be creative, it's NOT just a color change! It's a move that can be adapted to anything. If I get a few hours of down time I'll try to put up a few routines that I've been working on that don't utilize this move as a color change. Thanks for all the comments everyone! Bill PS: if anyone who has purchased the effect has thought of other great ideas for this move, feel free to PM me and talk about them. I'd be more than happy to discuss them with you! |

Quick question: Does this change require large-ish hands?

Hey David, to answer your question, no you don't need large hands. I have small hands and have no problem with it.

Just downloaded it. I am decent with cards and this will take some practice to get down. ANY good card move takes practice. I think it will be part of my regular routine when I get comfortable and fluid with it. Honestly, I cant believe I didn't think of it myself, but I say that with about everything I buy. LOL Great move, I am glad I purchased it.
Angles aren't too bad and the technique is smooth. I do some color changes but I think this one is going to be the best. I could see having someone sign a card and do an ambitious card routine. After doing the routine, as a close to the routine say, I just cant have people signing my cards all the time and show flip their card face up and make the move and have their signature disappear of their signed card in an instant, visually. This little move has killed with other color changes but this one will hit harder because their card really never leaves their sight at all. What do you think ?

OK, I should be sleeping now but this *** move is killing me. It looks awesome in the mirror. I have been practicing for about 20 or 30 minutes and almost have it down clean. I will put a lot more time in but already tried the signed card and it looks sick Fooled myself with it. It is one of those moves that looks like true magic. Nice effect !!! If you work with cards you should have this.

$15 for one move???
Expensive?? Are you sure? You only need ONE really nice colour change. Does the colour change on the Demo look great? Yep! Are the reviews it has received great? Yep! Pay up, learn it, love it, stop moaning Gary |

A good move is worth far more than 15 bucks.
Also, think about the time you invested practicing and perfecting it. If you work for pay during that time spend, you will start to understand the price of things . . . Picture this - you have spend 100 hours perfecting your side steal. Put a price tag per hour on it and you have the investment. Talking about price - what is the price of a reputation? Andy

Totally agree with andy on this one. Bill has created a wonderful move that justifies being sold on its own and what is $15 dollars in the great scheme of things. Magic is about dealing in secrets and if you want to learn somethng as magical as this then you have to stick your hand in your pocket but enough with that. This move absolutely rocks, I have only been practicing it a week and it's still a bit hit and miss so havn't put it into any tricks yet but like donkey & waffles idea, sounds good. I practice it sometimes when I'm workin behind a bar. Occasionally someone will catch me doin it and they literally cannot believe what they've seen. About as close to 'real' magic as you're gonna get.

Not my kind of color change. Left to dirty for my tastes and I you need decent sized hands.

Yeah, that would be an interesting twist, I may try it.
BTW, I have been doing this change along with several others and this one does seem to hit the hardest.Being able to visually see the card change through your fingers hits harder than the Erdnase in my opinion. I have found myself doing the ambitious and after the end of it, I get their signed card 2nd to bottom fluidly and then say the reason it is called the ambitious card is that it can show up anywhere. I show that it is not on the top or bottom and then I flip the deck face up(showing my hand empty) and wave my hand over it and boom there is their signed card again but now at the bottom right after they just saw it on top 4 or 5 times. I usually end clean with that performance of the move. I again show their signed card on the bottom and do the same in your face move again or maybe the Erdnase and their signature disappears completely.Set up is very easy, finally I do a dl from the face up cards and place their unsigned card back to the top and show it once more and set it up on top of the deck and place it sideways through the deck and bam their signed card is back. It was a great purchase for me. I think you cant have too many color changes in your arsenal anyway. Visual clean changes are big because it is something that needs no explanation. Any improvements or thoughts are welcome. I respect peoples opinions on here. There are some straight up geniuses in here for sure. Donkeys and Waffles

For anyone who hasn't heard about this, or for those that forgot, the In Your Face Color Change is absolutely brilliant! I just got it last night and can already perform it pretty smoothly. While it will take some practice, I believe it is one of the easier color changes, the angles are very good, and as far as I have seen, nothing even comes close as being as visual and stunning in a color change. Do yourself a favor, if you like color changes, or if cards is your thing, you need to check this change out.

I have been doing this change for several months now. My computer crashed but at least I remember it. Anyway, when I do it, noone wants to see my hands. They just look at each other in amazement. I will do a Erdnase and a pass change or a snap change at first or something. I do the in your face change a few diff ways and it is the strongest of the changes. It is so right there, no cover and so fast. Very highly recommended again by me.

Sorry but I think you should clearly state that you are not clean after this change, also the chap who was asking about dry hands will have problems as you do need some friction to make this sleight happen.you could end up licking that certain part of your hand all night.
the change aint bad but its not the best as you are left in a position with a card in an awkward position for this reason I feel its only half a move.at least with the snap change you are left in a decent tenkai palm. with this its just awkward palm.it looks good on camera as everything does at 25 or less frames per second.also angles and people positions could be a problem here. sorry but this is my honest pro view and yes I am a pro performing magician for real people.over thirty years not some kid in his bedroom. |

Hey everyone!!
I just downloaded this yesterday. Great change. Had it down in about an hour (But I usually pick things up pretty fast) As for the clean up, Yes you are left dirty, But I've aready figured out my own way to do it and it takes about one second and looks completly natural. (I mean come on, The deck is right there. HINT, HINT). I can see some people with dry hands having a little problem with this, But, A little bit of manipulation lotion and you should be fine. Oh by the way, I'm not a pro magician but I do perform, I'm 35 years old and I AM writing this in my bedroom!!!! LOL Tim

The effects on the DVD and lecture notes are far beyond your abilities. (They require mastery of the mechanic's grip.) It would only break your heart. Sincerely, Darwin Ortiz.......(This post has got to be in my top 5.) |

Yes the deck is right there but its very unatural to flip the deck over to place the card on the top and theres no way it looks natural placing it under the deck as it is.the idea of the sleight really is to change the card top into the spectators card say.so the heat is on the card on the deck.
I'm not in my bedroom cause I don't live with my parents !!! LOL |
