I ordered the Kinetic Sphere and the Multiplying Sphere from Hocus Pocus about four months ago. I'm continually being told that it's on back order and they hope to receive it soon. To be fair, Hocus Pocus has been very good about recognizing the inconvenience this backorder situation is causing and I have no complaints with them whatsoever.
All I'm wondering is what is causing the delay? Are other dealers getting their product? Is it just Hocus Pocus? Is there a manufacturing problem? If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Kent

The Kinetic Sphere appears to be on back-order.
I have one on order directly from David Mann, he's a very friendly and helpful gentleman, who appears to be swamped with just hoards of orders, and as you know they're all handmade. If you email him from his site: Percision Magic, I'm sure he'll be kind enough to update you. Magically, Walt |

After a very long wait, I finally received mine. It is well worht the wait. David is truly very creative. This item has so many applications that I am surprised that there have not been more people wondering what happened to it.
Walt is correct in his assessment of David Mann. He must have a lot on his plate at this time. He remains, however, most helpful and a true gentleman. |

I have had to wait for my Kinetic Sphere ordered from Hank Lee.
I was good surprised with the product but a lot less with the "manual". Wery brief explantion for such priced item. Does anyone knows if there is good and useful manual or DVD with routines for Kinetic Sphere. I don't want another one ordinary Zombie ball DVD. I search Kinetic Sphere tutorial.

I got tired of waiting. Hocus-Pocus graciously offered a full credit for the purchase and I acquired a number of other items instead. They were extremely apologetic about the situation.
Perhaps, someday, if the productions issues are fully resolved and the dealers are able to get timely responses from David, I will reconsider the purchase. I'm sure it is an excellent product. Kent

Hi, I spoke to David Mann about the lack of instructions in the instructions.
He is always happy to answer specific questions from buyers, as to hook-up or performance. I agree that this needs a lot more detail and explanation as it utilizes some new methods. When you buy this from Precision Magic you are also allowed onto their discussion forum where you can share with other owners and ask questions. I think the ideal would be a DVD to teach various techniques and handling, but that's up to David I guess. Magically, Walt |

I can't tell you how long it will be, but I do have every intention of providing a whole section on the Kinetic Sphere on my next Zombie video. I've spoken with David Mann about it and he seems to be 100% behind it. I do feel that it deserves a good deal of instruction that simply wouldn't be possible in print.

Jeb, thank you for information. I think that KS is to good to minorise it in a poor performance. I believe that DVD explanation of routine showed in KS demo video would be enough for decent performance.

I just got mine, brief response when I open packed, the ball is bit small for kind of this effect, and the balls can not assemblied properly. Of course less detail instruction. At least it should be some have some photos handling the gimmick.

I agree with you Indo.
I was affraid that only mine is hard to assemble but obviously it is a common problem. Pitty because with few routine instructions ( for the basic: To take thread coils out of the plastic bags or not) and more precise assembly it might be the great value for monney.

I got mine today and removed all the paper and stuff. It went together perfectly as there are two tabs on the bottom of the spehere to line it up. You just line them up and snap it together. Not so sure what was hard about that. But, I like it alot.

Maxum, Incase of mine, those 2 tabs can not be snapped together. It seems this prop is quite promising, but lack of detail information how to use it. And with that price I think we deserve to have it.

Can this ball be made up to look like a softball (or whatever kind of sports ball which is comparable in size)?
