Just looking for some feedback. This was after a show we did a couple of weeks ago (i don't have performance tape because my camera person was terrible). We shot this after the show to use the video for promo stuff and we ended up goofing around a ton. It can hold 5 people hidden (my design). Just looking for some feedback as this was the first vertical box I've ever built. Thanks!

btw there is another illusion at the end of Warnings if you want to check it out. Its a little on the freaky side but entertaining.

If you could speed it up so the people come out almost one after the other, that would be more impressive. The pace should be: show the inside, do all the tapping, etc. If you can take a flashlight or a work light inside with you, so much the better. Once you have done the tapping don't bother doing it any more. The parts where the assistant looked inside and then got inside the box seemed pointless. After showing the box empty once and once only, tuen the box, out comes #1, turn the box, out comes # 2, and so on. If you can manage to have two or three people come out together after the last turn, there's your finale. I hope you are using the ceiling space. If not, check back into the literature of the Chinese Illusionists of the early 1900's to see how to utilize it.

You might consider painting the outside a brighter color- like red. Also, keep in mind that full enclosed phone booths are becoming a thing of the past. Start looking for another design in keeping up with the times.

Well its designed to be a Bill and Ted themed illusion where people come out of the booth and tell a story or whatever. We have been booked for all kinds of different shows using it and people love it for presentations ect.

Every inch of that booth is used to hide something or someone. It is a tight fit all the way around.

About the lights, there is a strobe with a battery that goes on the inside and shines through the opening in the doors. We didn't want to spice the design up because we wanted it to look like this crappy thrown together phone booth by a couple of high school kids who use cell phones. It is actually part of the gag as when we are walking around the booth we are trying to figure out how it works. And at one point we try to dial the booth with our cell phones.

Anyway it was really an after show screw around so the performance isn't at all like it is in the show other than the turn around and the order of those who exits.
