I'm planing to do some illusions in a club. The audience will be half surrounding the stage. So I need a little advice about this. I already have a plan to do a small illusion without box and other big props such as the lean and my own illusions with television but I need a visual appearance or appearing an assistant. Might need a help on this.
Thanks

Thanks a lot guys I might use one of those list that you gave me for my show,i still need a visual appearance but without any big props because the place where I gonna play they don't have enough room to place my props, plus they don't have backstage.

Doing a visual appearance, such as a flash appearance, surrounded with no place to stow your props is going to be difficult. You should concentrate your efforts on putting together a show that you can do without that headache.
There is nothing wrong with walking out to your "stage," if you know how to make an entrance. Gene DeJean specialized in illusions that could be done surrounded. He did a mummy case, a disembodied princess (his own method), the thin sawing and several other illusions surrounded. You can also do Harbin's Super-X Plus surrounded, if you know how to manage the positions of your assistants and your lighting, but it takes a LOT of experience to understand how to do this.

I prefer the version that uses (more dangerous looking) spears and achieves a seemingly more randon pattern of penetration. It's detailed on one of Russ Stevens's DVDs |

There are lot of illusions, that can be performed, surrounded. As allready mentioned before, I would also reccommend you "Shadow Tent", if you are looking suitable illusion for appearence, it`s not expencive, and it packs really small.

Shadow Tent is good for appearance and the pack is small but not really fit with my concepts because the tent it self reminding the place where I'm gonna play,i think it's a litle bit odd to bring a "Tent" in the midle of a club, but I'm open for a second opinion
