Yeah, don't let the frog eat as much as it wants--I had one as a kid and I dumped a whole container of meal worms in it's tank. I looked at it later that night, and seriously expected it to explode, it had eaten so much.

Frogs are super greedy, they will not stop eating until they are dead.

The last frog I bought ..I got a 5.00 "RIBBIT"( rebate) back from the company. I figured the purchase was one giant LEAP for frog kind!

Yeah yeah, AND another realm of "Nippulini has experience here".... I've been a herpetoculturist since I was in my late teens. Frogs and toads are opportunistic feeders. This means that they never know if and when they will ever get their next meal. It is a survival instinct that evolution brought them, they have absolutely NO way of knowing that they have a full stomach (dogs also have this unfortunate problem). So this means that frogs (and dogs) can actually eat themselves to death! They also have no acids in their digestive system, they rely on bacteria to break down their food. Weird! Anway, what Brett said.... relation of prey size to frog size counts... and feeding frequency should be as close as they get in nature. Once in a while. Also, make it "rain" in the tank once in a while too. I keep my herps in vivariums, all real plants. No plastic. All these things relieve the stresses of captive life and can extend the lifespan of the creature.

So never spit on frog or dog food then?

Spit mixed in with dog food makes gravy.

Spitting on a dead horse will actually mummify it, since spit has natural preservative properties.

May be with some of ourfreaky spit it will not only stop bleeding, heal the wound and kill the baceria b ut will also cause the horse to regenerate and mutate in to a 3 headded horse with 6 tails?

But e down side its going to take 8 litres of spit!
