Major appolgies to Todd. The mic has left the building. When I decided to no longer do any pro voice work after too many years and now have not enough time to do it, or desire, I dismantled the studio set up with absolutely no thought. The Wife put stuff away. Somehow when cleaning the 'shop' recently the mic was put in a box or wherever and stowed away. In order to get it all back together I would have to tear out the store room and unpack stuff and that ain't gonna happen. So Todd while I wanted to do your grind for you, I had no idea that the 'stuff' would be out of mind as well as out of hand. Forgive please.

Just a suggestion.
You do live ballies,right?
Start taping them.
When you've taped a few days worth,start listening to them.
Pick out the parts you like and trash the parts you hate.
Start splicing it together into something that is part
grind,part bally.
I think you could come up with something that has the
effectiveness of a good grind tape combined with the
charisma of a live bally.
Then put a a very large plywood clockface sign
(you know,with movable hands)on the bally stage.
Paint the sign to read "NEXT FREE LIVE SHOW AT
(time indicated by dial)O'CLOCK ON THIS STAGE"
This would actually be an advertisement of the
time of your next live bally.
Sort of a bally for your bally,if you get my drift.

Not a bad idea Pete...Thanks! Venice is a weird beast.....most of the usual things don't work there. The crowds are used to being hit every second. Lately, I've just been bringing out the two headed turtles so everyone can see something for free.........that has been bringing them in steadily.

Well if I can find that freakin' mic, I'll make you one, so oozing in high falootin quality they'll think De Lawd is in their smokin' 10 cent See-gars.

But Pete's idea is dead on for doin your own and using the clock.

I told you before (numerous times I think) that your Gen-U-Ine Southern DRAWL is a crowd pleaser and attention getter. USE it!

Just one I haven't seen used in about 25 yrs.

I haven't seen it either for a long time except at Theme Parks for like the Rain Maker and Med Show stuff. Only hang up would be the speed at which 'they' pass by and not congregate like on the midways but that might still be a good trick to get them to check back. Sure can't hurt!

The FREAKS keep coming in!!! Today we had a guy come through the Freakshow who could turn his feet completely around and walk backwards!!!!!! We also had a guy come in who could swallow his own tongue!!!! IT LOOKED SICK!!!!!! He also has the same condition as ANDRE THE GIANT.....VERY STRANGE GUY.....he calls himself LURCH!!! We also had a BIONIC MAN come through...this guy had robotic legs and one robotic arm. Very interesting technology. EVERYBODY LOVES THE FREAKSHOW!!!! MAMA MIA!!!!

He could turn them half way around so they were pointing behind him and then walk that way I forgot to tell ya'll about the new full bodied tattooed man I met in Venice. This man is the first black guy I've met who is fully tattooed including his face. He said his hero is THE GREAT OMI!!! Look for him at THE VENICE BEACH FREAKSHOW!!!! OHH YEAH---Don't Miss-- MILO THE PRETZEL BOY.........the name says it all.....he can literally tie his body into a pretzel shape FOLKS....IT GETS BETTER EVERYDAY.....we're waiting for you all to JOIN US......THERE'S A FREAK REVOLUTION GOING ON!!!!!

Howdy everybody!!!!!! We had another GREAT day at the FREAKSHOW!!! I also got a lead on two 2 headed snakes and a two headed lizard I'll keep ya'll posted on what happens. By the way, if anyone knows of any STRANGE CREATURES that are available, let me know. I'm also willing to trade with anyone who might be sitting on something special!!

I just came across another TWO HEADED CALF!!! I don't know if I need another one, but I might share the connection if anyone would like to get it It is not taxidermied, so you have to consider that expense.

The local paper did a little article on The FREAKSHOW!!! Unfortunately, they don't include the photos on the website (They got a GREAT photo of Myrtle and Squirtle the TWO HEADED TURTLE!!!).
