Just the other day I was watching ESPN 2, and the national juggling federation came on and I saw what some of those guys were doing with those balls and clubs. This made me want to juggle. ANd through countless hours of practice, I can finally juggle three balls for a long period of time, so now I'm curious as to what else I can do. I'd like some different moves or things I can do other than just the rotation, and I thought there was no better place to go than the magic Café. Thanks

I suggest you go to ebay and look up juggling books. My favorite author is David Finnigan, but other members of the Café can reccomend others that they like. There are many regional juggling conventions you can attend, which is the best place to get some real hands on training. There are several learn to juggle web sites that you can google. You should hang out here and look at all the informative posts that have been posted. There that should get you started.

Actually the best place for juggling as I repeatedly post is http://www.jugglingdb.com
There you will find tutorials, videos, jugglers etc etc. As for books, it depends on what you want to do, the Charlie Dancey books on balls (The Encyclopedia of Ball Juggling) and clubs (The Compendium of Club Juggling) are probably the best overall books for those subjects. Then if you branch into others skills there are other books that are much more comprehensive (and accurate) on those particular disciplines than the Dave Finnigan book (The Complete Juggler). However Finnigan gives you a better over all picture than any other books out there. Oh and just to be pedantic it's called the World Juggling Federation (WJF) which neatly lets people copy their logo but alter one significant letter. Seeing WTF T-Shirts amuses me. Nigel
I knew a man who kept saying "pliers, pincers, scissors". He was speaking in tongs.

It would seem to me (an interested apprentice) that videos would be the way to go here, especially to learn the hand positions when throwing, etc....but I could be wrong....
