Is there anyone here that has returned their original gimmick for the new one? Did it make it any easier to perform? I find the original gimmick to be rather heavy.
Thanks in advance, Chris |

The new handle is great too. If you look at the little images on the site you'll see that it's easier to hold onto and the batteries are now in the handle. The motor and spool are now encloed too so it can't get snagged on anything (I've never had a problem with that anyway but it's nice to know it can't happen now). Ron Jaxon |

Thanks Ron, I'm going to upgrade. I haven't really put the time in with this thing because I was initially disappointed with the weight, and placed it into the huge "I'll mess with this later" pile. I'd like to get this into my act, as I have always enjoyed watching Sean do the routine.

I just received it, there are some good changes (the hanky is now never again uspide down when dancing.. You have to change your handling a little bit. The unit is stronger than before, there's NO new moves in the DVD, just some for the impossible hank. Good upgrade.

Question about the new version of the Ultimate Dancing Hank.
It's possible to manipulate the gimmick with the left hand and get same result? |

Can it be brought out anytime from behind the backdrop to perform with immediately set up? Or does it have to be stationed in one spot until it is finished?

Dynamike, yes, it can be brought out anytime. I have the complete set and I made my own case. I'm using the latest UDH & RC Hank.
My assistant brings out the case on a spider table, the bottle on a small round table and a special stand for the hank to sit on. Check out my dancing hank video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx8uczjkd50

Thanks Dynamike. That video was taken at the very front seat. If you notice, I don't make the hank dance inside the bottle too long so the string doesn't flash.
Sean Bogunia saw this and this is what he said "You really look like you're having fun and the hankie looks like a character I love seeing my inventions performed thank you for sending and making the video. Sean Bogunia PS I was hoping to see some PTS"

Very nicely done Lou. You areshowing a great flow and nice transitions. You are also showing character yourself and adding personality to the silk. The silk has a character that iscomical and you interact with it well. People forget it isasilk and see it as a two person comedic routine. That should be commended as well as you striving to perform this differently and with your own flare.

Thanks Kyle. I welcome any comments, criticisms and advice to improve this act. I even do this up close to my audience. That's why you see how fast I do it.

I think even slowed down no one would see anything. I felt the flow was pretty nice.

Nice video and routine there Lou - I like the idea of putting the handekerchief in the bird cage at the end!
I notice in your Cable Mask videos you are also wearing the vest - any video of your routine with this by any chance? It is nice to see that the gimmick is now lighter than before - practicing this was almost like working out with weights! And I like the choice of silk colours - this makes it so much more personal. |

Lou,
Just watch the gimmick at around 2 minutes in the video - it is completly exposed! -Whoops! |
