My 2cents.....for four balls, or clubs if you're so inclined, practice with an open door between your hands. Helps to separate the balls.

Don't forget that it is the quality of the toss that makes it easier.

I met Anthony Gatto when I was 16 or so and hey was 10-11 I believe. He could already do five clubs. He could not hold five so he would set 2 on the floor...juggle, kneel down, flash three and pickup into five. That day I decided to focus more on clowning than juggling.

Anthony can also not pick up 7 clubs, so he picks up 6, and then kicks up the seventh club into his right hand.

I have juggling for 3 weeks and can do 150 catches just doing a cascade, I can also do the pillars, and reverse cascade and two in one hand, and today I got down throwing one ball under my leg. This is just sorta reinforcing what itshim said. I am a student and can practice 2 hours + a day, so its probably easier for me to progress then people who cannot practice 2 hours + a day.
