I think you're misunderstandig me. I'm not putting down Prohibition or any of the other tricks that are not on the impromptu list. Actually, I think all of the tricks mentioned are really excellent.

All I am saying is IF you forgot to take that special something with you to do Prohibition then it wouldn't work. I didn't say it was a bad trick. The fact of the matter is you NEED that "thing". I'm certain that lots of magicians walk out of their house constantly with that "thing". I'm not trying to put them down.Godfather,
I'm just asking the Café members for their preference in which impromptu trick they like the most. It's only a vote. I'm sure that most people haven't bought every trick that has come out in 2006. I'm only asking what 2006 released impromptu trick they like the most.

Tony your are right Mindcast cards are the best for that effect.......they are made by Scott Grossberg he gets the credit..
Now if you guys really want the best in my opinion is( Liquid Band)... but of course there is no best.......
Liquid Band is one of the most visual penetration rubberband effect there is on the market... but I will not say it is the best...

I can't determine myself for this kind of vote, since there are too many great impromptu magic.

But, if the "impromptu" here is that you are really not prepared when someone ask you to do magic, STIGMATA comes first to my mind.

Just downloaded STUCK last night. Its the one trick ive done right in front of my wife that she CANT figure out!

So I'm pretty stoked. I still cant get the reveal down but the fact she cant figure out the vanish is good enough for me considering ive only played with it for 2hrs!

Wait a minute, why are card impromptu card tricks not allowed on this list? That doesn't make any sense.

And how is Kaos NOT impromptu? It is completely impromptu! There is one version that is less impromptu but the main trick can be done competely impromptu. I like it a lot although I can't vote for it as I have not performed it yet for an audience.

"Smoke Rings" and "Stuck" get my vote as of right now.

How about the triple threat wallet...impromptu. Gets my vote!

Another nod to Recap. IMO 'the best' impromptu routine ever. Not sure why it has to be 2006 only, there's aleady a wealth of (s)impromptu - like that term, 'simpromptu' - effects out there. No need to stock up on the latest releases all the time.
