Cardman036,
He says to stand 3 ft away. So its not too far and honestly, people won't want to be closer! There are some angles you have to be aware of but its basically beind you and the sides more towards the back. I will film a demo later and post it here. Marc |

Thanks Marc
One more question How practical is this? I just ordered the finger cutter and hope flesh wound is pretty easy to setup. Also when your set up, can you stay setup for an hour? Thanks. |

Cardman036 and Blindside785,
It's actually very practical. You can carry everything you need in your pocket. One thing I will have to do some more run thru's to see if blood will find its way out when in your pocket, although in all my practice tests, this is not a problem at all. Maybe someone who has had it longer can answer that. As far as how long can you stay setup for. Well you can be ready to do this pretty quickly and then you could do the trick, clean up. And repeat it 5 mins later to different specs. You could do this all day as long as you can clean up and do the setup, which again, is very simple. The setup is ridiculously easy if you are sitting at a table, while talking, you just need both hands below the table to prepare, so if everyone is talking it should be no problem. You will then want to either get up so you can get 3ft back or if they are on the other side of the table, that will work also. He teaches 2 ways to do this trick, standing and sitting. It's basically the same although the standing method is going to require slightly different handling but still very easy. It is also, in my opinion a better, cleaner handling. When you end, you are slightly dirty (not talking about blood) but in a few seconds, you can take care of that right in front of the spec. Hope this helped. Marc |

Just did this for my wife and I made the mistake of doing it while she was eating! She wasn't very pleased! But she said it looked so real she thought I had really cut myself! Tomorrow I will be doing this for some more people and I will report back.
The handling is very natural and I pulled it off without a hitch. I am gonna love this one! Marc |

Hi, I have been doing this for a month .. to make it more realistick try cutting the portruding edges arround the upper part of the gimick so it will be more flat against the skin then before performing add some blod drops from the tube included to the surfice of the upper part of the gimmick and it will look much more realistick.. try this you won t regret.

I've been thinking about getting this effect, especially with Halloween coming up. Those of you that have this, how do you like it?

A question on this for all you good folks...
How easy would the set-up and clean-up be if doing this on someone else's arm instead of your own? I'm thinking as part of a "hypnotic" type routine where the subject will have his/her eyes closed throughout, but perfomed to an audience. Thanks. |
