This was the only item I was interested in learning in Andrew Mayne’s book SOLO-FX. Does anyone have a review of it?

It's called TURBO and I think it's brilliant. Big prop. The best part is the subtle thing that Andrew has come up with for when your hand first goes through the fan. Gary Carson actually built one and performs it...you might want to check with him.

The effect is pretty nice over all.
I have not built it becuase it doesn't hit me. But the idea is genious. I suggest you pick it up and learn it. It won't be a waste.
I've been training these cards since they were small.

It is indeed a nice effect. I built one and then I ended up selling it, as Seeker said, it really does not hit me either, and that's how I feel with the illusions where someone walks through spinning fan blades or propeller.

That's nice, but it would be tough to store it in the old garage...

Yeah...My Statue of Liberty Vanish takes up a lot of space in my garage...As does my perfect perfect levitation for stage and street flying, my assitances, and my portable stage.

I would have to move my fighter, chopper, and Lamborghini into the front yard first, though. I'm sure you all know how that is...
I really need to get rid of them, but I always use them when I perform every three years or so...
