Are you referring to the outside or inside of the bag ? I started lining the inside of the bag with a plastic baggie and this has made all the difference. I still get a small stain, here and there, on the outside but overall my maintenance is minimal. John |

The plastic bags that work the best, ( less bulky) are those from the produce section of the super market.

Here's another vote for Vanishing Bandanna. (Though I must admit I do not own or have used the Super Chicken).
At a recent birthday party, one of the adults, a big man, came up after the show and wanted to know where the banana went! It was driving him crazy. Something I do is "open" the package, pull out a yellow "handkerchief", announce "Ah, a handkerchief!", use it to wipe my face, then place the handkerchief in my pocket, allowing it to hang out of my pocket. Kids go nuts trying to tell me the bandanna is in my pocket. After "folding" the banana, and setting it down on the table, I pull the "handkerchief" out, wipe my hands, and put it back in my pocket. I really like the SuperChicken. I've bought it almost 2 years ago but I've yet to get it out and practice. I think I should make it a priority to learn it as it is such a strong routine and the reviews from above attest that it is a big hit with the audience!

I've seen some movies of the vanishing bandanna, and I think it's hilarious, really too bad that I don't perform in English, and it doesn't work in my language (I've been thinking to find something similar in my language, but no luck yet ).
I don't know Super Chicken, does this also depend on a "word joke"? Thx

I don't do "Super Chicken" however..........I just did a show for the Anaheim Ducks Kids Club (about 600 in attendance). After the show, my client came up to me and told me that the Banana trick was his favorite, I didn't even have to ask him. This was after I did Lemon game and produced a Ducks Jersey from a flaming pan. So you just never know.

"I put a vote in for the Bandanna! I love this routine and so easy to do. I have problems with my hank getting stained. Need to find a fake-real looking banana. Anyone have ideas or links?" Clownboy, I have used the V.B. in hundreds of shows, one very effect way to clean the "cloth" is to place one cup of bleach, a little liquid laundry soap and hot water in a bucket. Place the "cloth" into this and let it sit for a few hours and or over night. You may consider as other have stated to have a few spares if you perform for several shows per week. Has anyone performed the Super Chicken for college students?
If yes, what were the results and tips? Click here to view attached image.

College students? Now that's an audience I imagine is a tough nut to crack. Please inform me if you ever give Super Chicken a try for them.
I just purchased Super Chicken from Barry Mitchell directly ... or a least the DVD and CD set (I'm going to assemble my own props). What's the best silk to egg method out there? Performing this for small birthday parties as well as banquet halls the method needs to pretty much angle proof. I bought a Zimmer Egg years ago, but never used it because the load chamber was small and it took too long to stuff the silk into my "supposedly" bare hand ... and I was always worried that from 8 feet away the gimmick was noticeable. I just read Michael Ammar's version last night, but wanted some input before investing any time in practicing. Regards, Larry

I have been performing Vanishing Bandanna since it came out and have done it well over 1,000 times. I do it at repeat gigs and always say "I just got this new trick in the mail" and people still go crazy time and time again. In my full production show one of the female dancers comes out in a sexy UPS Uniform while I am talking and delivers it too me.

I love the Vanishing Bandana. To make clean-up a lot easier, I actually take a ziplock bag and put it in the pocket for the banana. I use a bit of dbl sided tape to get it to stay in there and just drop the banana in there as I would normally and it doesn't stain the cloth. Sure a bit may get on it from the intial folding, but nowhere near the mess doing it the normal way.
