Is it normal to have two cups locking together ? they weren't doing that when new, but after a little use (or abuse) they can get stacked with no wobble problem, but some times they stay together. I just sow gazzo's old vid. and I noticed that he take just the top cup and the second one were coming together, so he had to pull them apart.

It depends on the individual cup sets. The first thing to do if you have two cups that consistently lock together is to check the cups to see if they are out of round. If one of the cups is out of round, then you might have to apply gentle, but firm pressure to the outside of the mouth of the cup to get it back into shape.

If the cups are both okay, then check to see if there is anything sticky on the cups. If so, clean them.

Next, run your finger around the inside of the mouth of the cup that is the top cup of the stack. If you feel any burrs, very carefully polish those off with very fine emery cloth. Don't be in a hurry. Work very slowly. Take a little off, feel the inside edge of the cup. Repeat this until the burr is gone. You should not have to remove much metal.

If you know a metalworker, and there are a lot of them in Mexico, see if he can help you with the problem.

The other suggestion of course is not to stack the cups so hard.

It will also take the chrome off the new MM cups when your cat is building sand castles in the litter box with them. I also hear it's good for ear aches Smile

That's right. I tried cat urine in my left ear. I had an earache in about 15 minutes!

Attending a rock concert will also give you an earache if that's what you mean.

I don't want to even hazard a guess on how one learns of the alternative uses for kitty pee. Isn't there a bizarre magic section for that kinda stuff?

Given my limited experience with pets, I've never quite been able to wrap my mind around a way to gather the precious feline patina-producing urine.....

That part is easy. Just leave a trash bag on the floor. Those things seem to be kitty magnets! In no time, you'll have a nice puddle in the middle of the bag.

Or just follow the cat around with the cup...he may feel uncomfortable about this but just assure him that this is important and you are a professional...LOL

Slightly off topic. I got a new cat some years ago and shortly after acquiring said nice Kitty... I tried to give it a bath in the kitchen sink.

Ever see a cat run up the wall, across the ceiling and out a window? Smile

I got an e-mail about this:

How to bathe a cat.

Get 1/4 cup of cat shampoo.
Pour it into the toilet.
Place cat in toilet and close the lid.
Flush toilet three or four times.
When you open the lid, the cat will emerge clean and rinsed.
This works every time.

Greetings and Salutations Bill,

FDROFLMAO!

You slay me with great advice on performing, cups, festival work and a host of other topics, but this is the first piece of advice I'm forwarding to partner, Cathy, we've been trying to figure out how to give Gracie (named for Grace O'Malley, and it suits her) for years!

Thanks once again!
